The Northeast Branch is excited to host the 2nd annual EUSPBA Northeast Branch Amateur Drumming Championship at the Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival on July 18th! Championships will include all grade levels of amateur snare, tenor, and bass drumming. Competitors are required to enter all events for their specific instrument and grade level to qualify for the championship. Northeast Branch is excited to offer another year of incredible prizes, including private instruction from world-renowned musicians Reid Maxwell, Morven Walker, and Christina Henry. Competitors will also receive prizes donated by Henderson’s Imports and Rohema Percussion. Additionally, our champions will have the opportunity to win a scholarship to one of next year’s premier piping and drumming workshops, including the Fair Hill Workshop, the Poconos Workshop, and the Invermark School. Pipe and Drum Registration check in begins at 7:15 am at the Willowbrook Shelter; you will receive your competitor # and approximate time of play. Times are only approximate and competition may be running ahead or behind posted schedule.

YOU MUST CHECK IN WITH THE STEWARD PROMPTLY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE EVENT.

Scholarship Application for Pipers And Drummers

Application Deadline – July 5, 2026

The Glasgowlands Scottish Festival will award two $300 scholarships to Pipers and/or Drummers aged 21 years or less who are participating in a class, workshop or school to increase their knowledge of these Scottish “crafts”. Winners will be announced at Closing Ceremonies on the day of the Festival. Applications submitted electronically using the link below.
