Athletic Games

The Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival Games are run by Ken Gustavson.
We have three divisions: Amateurs, Women and Masters.

In general, the day’s overall schedule depends on the number of athletes and the
number of events held, as determined by the athletic director.
Typically, the games start around 0900 and last until all athletes get 3 attempts at each event.
The typical order of events may be as follows:

Braemer Stone
Open Stone
Light Weight for Distance
Heavy Hammer
Weight over Bar

Some of the top athletes in the U.S. will be competing, including some world record holders.

For information contact Ken at (603) 303-3399 (cell)

* It had been brought to our attention---and we agree--that for those of you playing in only 1 event that $40 is a high cost.
We are lowering these fees to $20. If you have already paid, we will refund you the difference the day of the festival.
Thank you for playing with us. Janet
